Soccer 2023/2024 Season Recap
Having returned the nucleus from last year's team, this year’s CCS soccer team had a banner year as they finished the season with a school best 7-2-1 record. Not only did the CCS Cheetahs finish the regular season in second place, but in the semifinal game, they defeated three-time conference champion Boca Christian by the score of 2 -1. The result of that game put them in the championship game against Abundant Life, in which CCS played a hard fight match, but ultimately lost 1-0 in a very exciting game.
Leading the way in scoring this year for your CCS Cheetahs was their captain, Barrett Dick, who recorded 12 goals. Leading the team in assists was Jo Jo Melnicoff. Also playing well for your Cheetahs were Jash Bhatt, Gio DiGiore, Colin Letourneau, Benjamin and Hamilton New, Grayson Walker, Gavin, Dechert, and Ryden Hunter-Reay.
The 2023/2024 CCS Soccer Team was coached by Carl Sallade, with Alexandra LaCasse and Jack Melnicoff
Tryouts are open to boys and girls in third through fifth grades. Practices are held on campus Monday through Thursday after school during the season. Games are scheduled after school and parents are responsible for transporting their child to and from games. CCS does not provide transportation.
