2023/2024 Basketball Season Recap
The CCS basketball team had a highly successful season, finishing with a 5-3 record, enough for a tie for third place. The Cheetahs were led by the one-two punch of Colin Letourneau and Austin Costa. Grayson Walker made his presence known on the defensive end, while Lucas Uchiyama and Josh Bhatt contributed on the offensive side. This year’s team was coached by Carl Sallade and Bruce Latta.
The basketball season begins in early November and ends in the middle of January.
Games are scheduled for once or twice a week against other small Christian schools in our community. The season consists of approximately ten games, which are held right after school in either the CCS Gym or at the opposing school. Parents are responsible for transporting their child to and from games. CCS does not provide transportation. Tryouts are open to boys and girls in Fourth and Fifth grade.
