2023/2024 Flag Football Season
This year‘s CCS flag football team brought home their second consecutive league championship. This year‘s team went undefeated throughout the regular season, posting a perfect 5-0 record (wow!), defeating Highland Christian and Somerset Pines to take home there back to back championship trophy.
Austin Costa and Barrett Dick Co-Captained perhaps the best team in school history. Austin Costa was an impressive quarterback, directing CCS to an amazing offensive attack averaging over 25 points a game. Two-way star Benjamin New was solid on both offense and defense. Also playing well was Gavin Deckert, Colin Letourneau, Hamilton New, William Bulkin, Jash Bhatt and Grayson Walker.
This year’s team was coached by Carl Sallade and Jack Melnicoff.
The CCS Flag Football season runs from February through March
Tryouts are open to boys and girls in third through fifth grades. Practices and home games are held on the CCS campus, with practices held after school Monday through Thursday. Tryouts and season information will be announced in January.
